DATA

Hello,

I hope you're doing well. I would like to ask if it's possible to import data from Scopus.com to our website automatically.

For example, at the University of Technology, we want to bring data from our Scopus profile (https://www.scopus.com/pages/organization/60071176#) to our website and display it in a nice design, like other universities do. I would really appreciate any help or advice on this.

Thank you

Hi Shaco, I checked the website and noticed they provide an API key. You can easily request an API key and start fetching data

https://dev.elsevier.com/

You can find all the available endpoints on this guide

https://dev.elsevier.com/api_docs.html

Good luck

Hi Shaco, they provide an API keys for such matter as Ali mentioned.

According to their Elsevier Developer Portal they offers two options for using their services:

  1. Non-Commercial use: Researchers in Academic & Public Sector Institutions, Charities & Charitable Foundations (I believe this would be a suitable option for your needs) but it might be limited to daily request.

  2. Commercial use: Researchers in Private Sector & Commercial Institutions.

As an official and public sector like UOT you can register and apply for API keys.

We can guide you through the usage of it based on their docs after you get the required setup.

Best.
